Workforce Readiness Scholarships

Leaders Education Foundation will award scholarships to support West Tennessee students who are enrolled in Workforce Readiness programs or are pursuing industry certifications through West Tennessee community colleges or the Tennessee College of Applied Technology.

Information and Eligibility

The program will award up to $1,000 to students enrolled in approved workforce readiness programs or pursuing industry certifications through West TN community colleges or the Tennessee College of Applied Technology.
The scholarship funds can be used for tuition, purchasing associated supplies, books or materials, testing fees or other related costs associated with the program or certification.
The applicant or applicant’s parent or grandparent must be a member of Leaders Education Foundation.
Application periods open annually on Apr. 15, July 15, and Dec. 15.

  1. Complete the online application.

  2. Upload a copy of the course registration for the upcoming semester.

  3. Explain how the funds will be used to impact your education.

Documents and files to have for uploading to complete the application:

  • Course Registration: Proof that you are enrolled in a workforce readiness program. 
  • Selection of membership with Leaders Education Foundation.
Missing information within the application will result in disqualification. Leaders Education Foundation is under no obligation to contact applicants regarding missing or incomplete information. All applications will be reviewed by Leaders Education Foundation.
